Judy Young is a College and MBA Admissions Coach and an Ivy League graduate herself. She has helped students successfully gain admission and full-ride scholarships to top schools in the US and internationally including Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Stanford, MIT and Cambridge University for both college and MBA admissions.
Judy believes that the student is the driver of the process, however, the family plays a key role in supporting the student day to day to ensure their success in the admission’s journey that’s why Judy works closely alongside both the student and family as the guide and coach for a team-based approach.
Through this team-based approach and open communication students and families are better supported, taken care of, and more successful along the way in what can otherwise be a stressful process. She works with students individually to coach them in the types of training and preparation they need to be successful in gaining admission to their top choice college.
“I enjoy working with students to see them work hard and flourish as they discover their potential and chart a course to their right fit college.“
Judy’s goal is to provide students and families with information and resources that will allow them to make better decisions about their future and understand how admissions decisions are made.
Judy is CEO of College Excellence, and holds a BSc in Economics from The University of Pennsylvania and an MBA in Marketing and Finance from The Wharton School. She also has College Admissions Certification from UC Irvine and Rice University.
Anja Young graduated from Stanford University in June 2016 with a B.A. in Economics and now works at Wells Fargo in their Commercial Real Estate division. During her time at school, Anja spent two years working in the Stanford Admissions office conducting presentations to prospective students and answering questions they had about the application process.
She also spent several years as a writing tutor for the Hume Writing Center on campus, helping Stanford undergraduate and graduate students with essays, applications and grant proposals. Anja was also heavily involved in the school’s primary paper, the Stanford Daily, first as a contributing writer, and eventually, as a Managing Editor and Board Member.
Since graduating, Anja has started her own editing business helping high school students prepare their essays for college, as well as helping students ranging from High school to graduate school with essays and dissertations. Through her editing work, Anja has come to enjoy building long term relationships with students and helping them find their voices through writing.
